Government Contractors

Government Contractors

The security clearance process for government contract personnel is uniquely different than that of federal personnel. Most notably, contractors are subject to adjudication by the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO). Contractors who either unconsciously or consciously falsify/omit personal information in their security clearance package face denial and the loss of their job. It is important to complete the clearance package accurately and honestly initially, to ensure one is granted an interim clearance and final clearance.

The National Security Law practice group at Tully Rinckey PLLC is able to assist any and all contract personnel in their industrial security clearance package concerns. Our lawyers are able to identify potential mitigating factors to help you avoid disqualification. Further, we can help you accurately complete all forms since you may never have a second chance to explain your answers.
