Megan Beatty

Accountant

As an accountant, Megan is involved with preparing financial reports, analyzing financial information, and utilizing proper accounting controls and procedures. She also coordinates with the Chief Financial Officer on a variety of projects.

Megan was raised in Dalton, PA. She attended Abington Heights High School and competed on the varsity soccer team for four years. She later graduated from Elmira College where she received her B.S. with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration.

While pursuing her degree, Megan had the opportunity to study abroad in Australia and spent time in Sydney, Cairns, Melbourne, and the Outback. Following graduation, she continued her education at the Rochester Institute of Technology where she earned her MBA in Business Administration and Accounting. Also, she actively participated in a campus organization called The Next Generation of Accountants.

Megan currently resides in Albany. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, riding her horses, and spending time with family and friends. Also, she is actively preparing for the New York State Certified Public Accountant exam.
