Ryan C. Green, Esq.

Associate

Ryan represents federal employees on a range of employment and labor issues including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, equal pay, and adverse action claims.

Prior to joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Ryan represented a federal agency in employment disputes before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Merit Systems Protection Board. As an agency representative, Ryan litigated matters concerning disparate treatment based on age, race, sex, disability and reprisal. He also advised senior agency management on performance and conduct based actions, retirement benefit coverage, and leave issues under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).

Ryan earned his juris doctorate at the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C and is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. While pursuing his law degree, he was offered membership on George Washington’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and participated in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration competitions. Ryan also served as a judicial intern at the D.C. Superior Court where he researched and drafted bench memoranda on civil motions related to employment disputes.

As an undergraduate, Ryan earned dual bachelor of arts degrees in political science and economics.
