Sheila Matejek

Director of Legal Administration & Human Resources Manager

Sheila will be responsible for all legal support staff, procedures, policies, management and operation of all current and future firm office locations. She will play a key role in managing the firm’s growth through creating new positions to handle projected expansion, and will be instrumental in ensuring that policies and procedures are consistent throughout the firm’s locations.

Sheila joined the firm with an extensive legal and banking background of office administration and senior management. She has been responsible for performance management, employee relations, analysis and projection of staff planning and all aspects of human resources. She has been successful in the development and implementation of procedures to efficiently manage a legal operation with innovative ideas that establish corporate leadership in the marketplace.

In her previous positions, Sheila has used her business partnership skills, associated with legal, banking and commercial services, to increase productivity and promote exceptional client customer service. She has senior level knowledge of law firm management through supervisory and leadership skills, excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to resolve complex issues retaining confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.

Sheila is involved in various professional and community organizations in the Capital District and Saratoga County. She enjoys spending time at Saratoga Lake, downhill and cross country skiing and traveling with family and friends.
